The Perle C-10GT-XFPH is a high-performance media converter module designed for transparently extending 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) connections over various fiber optic types. It is specifically engineered to operate within the Perle MCR1900 Media Converter Chassis, providing a robust and scalable solution for network infrastructure. This module facilitates the conversion between 10GBASE-T copper Ethernet and 10GbE fiber optic links. It features a standard RJ45 port for the 10GBASE-T connection and an adaptable slot that accepts either SFP+ or XFP fiber transceivers. This flexibility allows for seamless integration with both multimode and single-mode fiber networks, including support for CWDM and DWDM wavelengths for extended reach and increased bandwidth. For copper-to-copper connectivity, the module can also accommodate SFP+ Direct Attach Cables (DAC), also known as twinax cables, or XFP 10GBASE-CX4 transceivers, offering further versatility for short-reach datacenter applications.
