The APC AP7900B NetShelter Switched Rack PDU is a trusted and innovative power distribution product that is used in data centers, network cupboards, and high-performance IT environments. This rack-mount unit offers switched outlet-level control, enabling administrators to remotely control and monitor the equipment they are connected to to improve uptime and energy usage.
The AP7900B has 12 fully controllable NEMA 5-15R outlets, allowing individual outlet switching to provide the ability to remotely reboot equipment and to provide optimal power sequencing. Its 1440 W (15A, 100/120 V) is an efficient power source to power vital IT equipment, as well as providing real-time load tracking and environmental consciousness.
This PDU has a 12-foot power cord, which provides it with the flexibility of being installed in standard racks. The integrated network management is provided with secure access via web (or SNMP or telnet) interfaces to permit easy control at the distributed locations. The AP7900B offers a stable delivery of power and active control to reduce downtime and the operation costs through its robust components and the reliable infrastructure already tried and demonstrated by APC.
