The APC Smart-UPS X 2000VA Rack/Tower LCD (SMX2000RMLV2U) is a high performance uninterruptible power supply unit that is targeted to be used in enterprise IT, networking, and server setups. Providing 2000VA/1800W of pure sine-wave power, it provides a smooth transition of mission-critical protection of devices during outages, surges, and voltage variations. The unit promotes rack (2U) and tower applications, and thus it can suit a variety of installations. It has an easy-to-use LCD display that gives readable status updates, load, and battery condition.

The UPS has Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to rectify the voltage without battery power to prolong the total battery life. The SMX2000RMLV2U is scalable and controllable to networked state-of-the-art IT run-time with external battery packs to extend the run-time period and SmartSlot to enable network management cards.
