Product Overview
The APC Smart-UPS SRT6KXLT is a high-capacity, two-conversion online UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), which provides mission-critical systems with reliable continuous power protection. It has a rated power of 6 kVA / 6 kW, and a nominal input/output of 208 V, which targets data centers, server closets, light industrial settings, medical labs, and network-infrastructure configurations. It is a UPS that is designed to be resilient: it is modular in shape, has wide runtime capabilities, has controlled connectivity, and even a powerful battery backup - so that when power failures occur, one can be sure that their systems will be online.
Key Features and Benefits
-
True Double-Conversion Topology – Gives stable sine-wave output and zero transfer to battery, insuring against voltage sags, surges, frequency variation, and power outages.
-
High Capacity and Full Load Support- 6 kVA / 6 kW Have the capacity to confidently support large server, storage or network equipment loads.
-
Scalable Connectivity / Management- Features a Network Management Card, Smart-Slot to add accessories, serial/USB/Ethernet ports and can be used with remote monitoring tools to have centralized management.
-
Extendable runtime Built-in battery packs with external battery additions provide more uptime to allow critical systems to run longer during a major outage.
-
Rack/Tower Convertible Design- frees flexibility in deployment; can be deployed as a standalone tower or can be integrated into rack environments (rail kits sold separately).
-
High Efficiency & Regulatory Certifications - It is very efficient in its energy use over the entire load range; certified in ENERGY STAR and UL, FCC, and other applicable safety/energy standards.
-
Built-In Protection Systems – Surge protection, variable auto-voltage, compatible with generators, cold-start, resettable circuit-breakers to protect the UPS and equipment.

Product Information
The APC SRT6KXLT is designed in such a manner that it sustains critical infrastructure uptime with hard electrical conditions. Its two-way online design has made sure that the equipment connected to it will always receive clean power regardless of the changes in the input power or the unstable nature thereof. Since it does not directly switch to utility power (as with line-interactive or standby UPSes), it has protection against transfer delays and irregularities in voltage and frequency.
The unit comes with a wide range of outlet configurations (region or model variant), including NEMA L6-20R and L6-30R and some have IEC C13 / C19 outlets. Its motherboard also has USB, serial and Ethernet ports, as well as a Smart-Slot to add extension card support- remote monitoring, remote reporting, and automation of shutdown can be done via the motherboard (e.g., PowerChute or similar). In case of a long run time environment (e.g., long power outages or maintaining a critical load), then additional battery packs can be added to scale the backup time.
Installation is not fixed: the SRT6KXLT comes in a tower format, but is rack/tower convertible with rail kits. Its physical dimensions have been exploited regardless of its size and power, and its height is approximately 432 mm, its width is approximately 174 mm, and its depth is approximately 719 mm.
When compared with performance, full load running time is brief (around 2 minutes), which is characteristic of high-capacity online UPS packages. It is created to allow a delay long enough to allow backup generators to be online or to handle graceful system failures. Its efficiency is also good over a variety of loads, a factor that assists in the cost of operation, particularly in those installations that are energy sensitive
