The Cisco C-NIM-2T is a 2-port Serial Network Interface Module (NIM) that is used to provide more connectivity options to the WAN of the router Cisco ISR 4000 Series. Designed as an enterprise-grade network, it has two high-speed serial interfaces to be connected with a legacy WAN infrastructure, leased lines and serial-based communication systems that are typical with industrial, government and financial networks.

All ports are capable of supporting a range of serial protocols, HDLC, Frame Relay, PPP, X.25, and LAPB to allow adherence to the network environment. Cisco C-NIM-2T provides high reliability and solid data transfer performance, which ensures that communication is constant over critical applications in the mission.
