The Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series Switches are the first enterprise and service provider switch line to be specifically designed with 100 Gigabit Ethernet in the industry. Catalyst 9500 Series was named as CRN 2017 Overall Network Product of the year, and it is designed to support security, IoT, and cloud, expanding upon the existing capabilities of the existing Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series to a table platform of a large scale.
The C9500-48Y4C-A is a fixed-core switch that offers excellent performance, reliability and scalability at a low price in a 1U form factor, rack-mount format, which is an ideal building block to the next-generation, software-defined access and aggregation layer of the enterprise network.
