The Cisco switched C9300-48H-A is an enterprise access switch of high performance designed to suit both the wired and wireless edges today. Its 48 multigigabit copper ports will automatically negotiate faster rates to eliminate bottlenecks to Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, high throughput clients, and bandwidth-intensive IoT or AV connections--and provide better PoE capabilities to make setups easier and cabling less complicated.
This model is part of the Catalyst 9000 family, which combines hardware-based security with the rich services of Layer 3 and telemetry that is automation ready. The -A bundle offers Network Advantage software to do advanced routing, segmentation and policy control, allowing campus and branch networks to scale in a safe way and still perform at identical levels on the first day.
Key features
-
Multigig copper ports (autonegotiable up to multi-gig) on edge devices.
-
UPAE/ UPAE + to serve high bandwidth endpoints such as APs, cameras, panels and thin clients.
-
Flexible high-speed aggregation uplinks which are modular.
-
802.1X-based enterprise security, segmentation by policy, MACsec (license/model optional).
-
Robotization and introspection through model-based telemetry, programmability, and zero-touch onboarding Kumu options.
-
Output scaling to add support and resiliency with single-IP management.
-
The product is redundant, field replaceable power and fans in a 1RU quiet and efficient chassis.
