Product overview
Cisco Catalyst C9300-48UN-M is a dense access switch that is designed to meet modern edge requirements of wireless and wired networks. Its 48 multigigabit copper ports automatically negotiate 1G/2.5G/5G/10G to avoid uplink bottlenecks with Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, high-throughput clients, and bandwidth-intensive IoT endpoints- and provide enhanced power over Ethernet operations to make installations simpler and reduce cabling clutter.
It was built on the Catalyst 9000 architecture and includes hardware-based security, abundant Layer 3 services, and automation-enable telemetry. Universal PoE support serves a big variety of devices such as APs, cameras, thin clients, and signage so you can expand, scale, and partition without any hesitation across campus and branch settings.
Key features
-
Multigig (1G/2.5G/5G/10G) copper access ports of high throughput edge devices.
-
To drive high-end points, simplified cabling is supported by Universal PoE (UPOE/UPOE+).
-
Portions of fast aggregation modular uplinks (10/25/40G, depending on the module) with flexibility.
-
Enterprise security based on 802.1X, policy-based segmentation, and MACsec (license/model-dependent).
-
Automation Self drive telemetry, model-driven, zero-touch onboarding.
-
Stacking support to scale, add resiliency, and have single-IP management.
-
Field-replaceable, redundant power and fans in a 1RU chassis with a quiet design that is very efficient.
