The Cisco Catalyst IE-3300-8U2X-E provides enterprise-scale switching with high wattage Power over Ethernet in a small hardened form. It has eight Gigabit copper ports with Universal PoE (UPOE/UPOE+) and two 1/10G SFP + uplinks and is capable of powering cameras, access points, sensors, and controllers as well as providing high-speed fiber backhaul to harsh and space-restricted environments like roadside cabinets, factory cells, utility sites, and sensors.
The IE-3300 family is based on Cisco IOS XE to ensure the operation of the entire IT to OT environment and integrate hardware-based security, policy-based segmentation, and industrial resiliency capabilities. There is a fanless, DIN-rail-mountable, IP30 rated metal chassis, higher temperature tolerance, and 2 DC power inputs that are designed to be used where 24/7 operations are required, dust, vibration and large temperature swings are the order of the day.
