The Cisco Catalyst IE-3100-8T2C-E is an enterprise-level network that is based on an industrial-grade, resilient design and can be trusted in the toughest of situations. It has eight Gigabit downlink connections and two combo uplinks, and can support a variety of field device connections, and can be configured with either copper or fibre uplinks.
The IE-3100-8T2C-E is strong enough to work under extreme environmental conditions, such that it can work within a broad range of temperatures. It can resist shock and vibration, and it is therefore stable in very electrical-interference surroundings. It is designed to take two power inputs, which is why it can be used continuously even when one of its power sources is out.
