Product overview
Cisco Firepower 1010 NGFW FPR1010-NGFW-K9 is a small, next-generation firewall that was designed to serve small offices, retail outlets and edge locations which require a high level of security and an easy day-to-day operation. It runs Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) software, which combines stateful firewalling, intrusion prevention, URL filtering, and advanced malware protection, all to a quiet and desktop friendly appliance.
Besides threat prevention, the Firepower 1010 simplifies the network design with flexible routed or switched interfaces, simple site-to-site and remote-access VPN, and policy-based segmentation of guests, IoT, and corporate users. It is either locally handled or centrally handled by Cisco management platforms to ensure that policies are consistent across numerous locations as well as offer profound visibility and eventual analytics.
