Cisco IE-1000-4P2S-LM is a rugged, small, and low-energy industrial Ethernet (IE) 1000 Series Switch made for alligator environments and mission-critical applications. This managed switch is designed to provide good network connectivity at the edge and operate with Gigabit and Fast Ethernet so that the transmission of data between the industrial networks is fast, smooth, and effective.
IE-1000-4P2S-LM provides copper and fiber connection opportunities and has four 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE ports and two SFP uplink slots. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), up to 30W per port, which is appropriate to power IP cameras, wireless access, sensors in the industry, among others, without the need for adding extra power lines.
It includes a strong 4854 V DC power input and 128 MB RAM, which makes the switch capable of operating under heavy industrial conditions with no performance flutter. It is designed as an open case and fanless DIN-rail which offers silent operation and long-term stability even in extreme environments.
The switch takes the Cisco Industrial Ethernet Software that consists of easy management features, improved security, and network diagnostics. It is also compatible with the existing industrial networks and has a stable performance in such industries as manufacturing, transportation, and utilities.
