The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S= 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module offers high-speed and short-range 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber (MMF). Designed for data centers and enterprise networks, this transceiver is compact, hot-swappable, and is capable of providing data rates of up to 10Gbps over a wavelength of 850nm, surpassing speeds of 1 gigabit and support intra-building applications while also providing superior performance and support reliability.
The transceiver is rated for short-range fiber links and operates seamlessly with Cisco networking and removes the link between throughput and power. The SFP+ form factor allows for easy installation and replacement suited to the hot-swappable media. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) enables real-time monitoring of power, temperature, and voltage.
