It is a part of the FortiGate Rugged 60F Series and has full security, flexible connectivity, and resilience to remote sites, substations, and operational technology (OT) networks.
The device runs on the Fortinet SPU SoC4 security processor, which provides unmatched throughput and can offer advanced threat protection, application control, and VPN performance without affecting its speed. The unit has 6 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) and 1 Gigabit SFP (1000Base-X) interface, which is flexible in connection with both wireless and fibre.
Fit for rugged deployments, the FortiGate 60F Rugged can work in high and low temperature environments, and is therefore suitable in outdoor or factory locations. It provides AES 256-bit encryption along with SHA-256 authentication, making all connections reliable in terms of data integrity and confidentiality. The maximum number of VPN tunnels it supports is 100, which is why it is an effective and secure choice in terms of connecting branches and getting access remotely.
