Product Overview

The HPE Q2078W LTO-8 Ultrium WORM Data Cartridge is a high-performance and write once, read many (WORM) data storage target that is aimed at organisations employing the product as an insurance of secure and tamper-proof long-term data retention. This cartridge offers a very high data storage density and resilience to backups, compliance, and archival solutions with a native capacity of 12TB and a maximum capacity of 30TB, including 2.5:1 compression.

The Q2078W was designed to high standards of quality used by HPE; therefore, long-term, its performance is stable and trustworthy in data protection, which is of utmost importance to the mission. The WORM (Write Once, Read Many) feature makes sure that once the data is written, it can never be erased or overwritten, and it is therefore suitable for legal, financial and regulatory environments that require the storage of data that cannot be changed.
