Product overview
The NETGEAR GSM4248PX-100NAS is a fully-managed AV-over-IP switch designed to support medium and large-scale production areas, auditoriums, classrooms, houses of worship and corporate facilities. It has 40 Gigabit PoE+ access ports to run encoders/decoders, PTZ cameras, DSPs, control processors, and Wi-Fi access points and 8 dedicated 10G SFP + uplinks that allow flexibility and headroom in aggregation or fiber backhaul.
The M4250 platform is purpose-built to make use of profile based workflows which set up VLANs, QoS and multicast (IGMP) to popular video and audio standards, saving time on configuration and eliminating trial and error. The port layout and a small rack friendly chassis with quiet acoustics is easily installable and serviceable in tech booths and equipment racks.
