The Netgear GSM4230UP-100NAS is a layer 3 Ethernet switch (fully managed) based on the M4250 AV Line, which is specifically designed to be used with AV-over-IP applications. It provides 24 rear-facing 1G Ultra90 PoE++ ports with a very high 1440W power budget, which is used to guarantee good power delivery in the connected devices. The switch also has 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP ports with the option of uplink. Its fanless version and small 1U size make it the perfect choice where space and noise are the crucial factors to be addressed when integrating into AV racks.

Netgear GSM4230UP-100NAS is designed to fulfill the professional AV needs of installation. It has a total of 24 rear-facing 1G Ultra90 PoE++ ports (each capable of supporting 60W) and supports high-power loads including PTZ cameras and digital signage. Its total power budget of power is 1440W and this guarantees stability of power supply to all the devices connected.
The fanless design of the switch and its 1U form factor allows it to be fitted in AV racks and thereby reduces noise and space usage. Its multicast support which is at the advanced stage, through Netgear IGMP Plus, makes the AV-over-IP applications more effective in handling multicast traffic.
AV profiles (Dante, Q-SYS, and AES67) make AV deployment in AV networks easier and the optional AVB license supports AVB-compliant devices. The 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP ports allow flexibility in the uplink connections, thus making the network have a smooth time connecting to it.
