The RUGGEDNET GHPoE/Si is a hardened, unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for network distance extension and simultaneous high-power PoE delivery. It features four 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports capable of delivering up to 60W of HPoE power per port, and one or two 1000BASE-X Gigabit fiber ports. This switch is ideal for powering demanding devices such as outdoor pan-tilt-zoom cameras with heaters and blowers, and multi-stream wireless access points in rugged environments. The GHPoE/Si operates as a Layer 2 switch and can be configured in Directed Switch mode to optimize multicast traffic flow, preventing copper port flooding. Models with dual fiber ports offer advanced capabilities including Dual Device Mode for isolated operation and redundant fiber uplinks for high availability with sub-50ms restoration. The fiber port options include fixed ST, SC, LC connectors or SFP transceiver slots, supporting multimode or single-mode fiber with distances up to 140 km, and SFPs for various distances and CWDM wavelengths. The switch automatically negotiates power levels for Powered Devices (PDs), delivering up to 15.4W (PoE 802.3af), 30W (PoE+ 802.3at), or a configurable 60W (HPoE) per port. A convenient remote PoE power reset function, configurable via DIP-switch, allows for remote power cycling of connected PDs, reducing the need for on-site maintenance. The compact design includes DIN-rail mounting and dual DC input power via 2-Pin terminal connectors for flexible installation.
